In a coordinated action by the feudal counts of a series of city-states along the southwestern coast of the Sea of Mice — including those of Hundomus, Huntarmus, Murunda, and Thingran — a mutually defensive confederation is established, which rapidly evolves into a greater centralized authority, the Federation of the South.   The Kingdom of Linia is effectively born, though it will call itself neither Linia nor a kingdom for many years to come.   Initially led by a rotating chair chosen among the constituent counties, the Count of Hundomus will later come to dominate the federation's activities.
