True Dragons

The Dragons were the nearly undisputed rulers of Materia before the arrival of the Elthelian Gods. Their squabbles were amongst themselves. The arrival of humanoids has split the dragons into two camps as to how to react. The metallic dragons, in large part, have decided to take an approach of begrudging acceptance of the new arrivals. Allowing the humanoids to live so long as they will leave them alone as well. The chromatic dragons have largely taken a more aggressive approach, with many vowing to destroy any humanoids who venture in or near their domain.
  Dragons are split into two broad groups: chromatic dragons and metallic dragons. Chromatic dragons are the children of Irodracia, and Metallic dragons are the children of Quetzal.
  While any two True Dragons can have children together (the children will usually share coloring with the mother), they tend to have highly distinct cultures separated by both physical and metaphorical distance, making such pairings very rare.
