Dwarves

The dwarves were a people of music and mines in Elthelas, rivals to the Elves, and sometimes friend to Humans. They are short, but thickly built, with legs and arms somewhat short for the size of their torsos. Both males and females grow beards, and their culture values darkness over light, and depth over height. Now they have been banished to a new world, trapped on the surface without their ancient cave fortresses, and their God killed when their home world was destroyed.
