Reverand William Stryker leads a public Mutant hate group. The Purifiers preach Mutant discrimination, caveating the "Mutant Epidemic", a false narrative specifying that Mutants will begin massacring Humans, leading to Humans becoming extinct. The Purifiers plan to get ahead of the curve by massacring the Mutants before any can retaliate. Most places on Earth prohibit excess Mutant hate, but some states and provinces get away with lynches and the like.
