Reality Bleed

You peel back the seam of your extradimensional space, letting its contents overlap the world. Phantom blades whirl around you in a 10-foot radius. The area is difficult terrain for creatures other than you.
An enemy that starts its turn in the area or enters it for the first time on a turn must make a DEX saving throw, taking 2d8 force damage on a failed save, or half as much on a success. The aura moves with you and passes through objects and creatures, but cannot extend through barriers that provide total cover from you.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd.

Notes (DM).

  • A creature can be damaged once per turn by this spell (either on entering or at start of its turn).
  • Teleporting into the area counts as entering. Forced movement also counts, but being moved without crossing into a space of the aura does not.
  • The difficult terrain applies to all creatures but the damage only effects enemies.
