Old Gin

Old Gin was a fisherman of Lin Province, happiest when his small boat drifted through dawn mists, nets heavy with silver-scaled river fish. His days were simple: sharing jokes at the docks, slipping extra fillets to hungry children, and living by the gentle rhythm of water and seasons. He had no hunger for wealth or tales of glory — content that a quiet, honest life was treasure enough.
That life ended the day he was kidnapped by Alistaer Teival, dragged from his boat to become little more than bait in a cruel game meant to torment Ecaflip. Gin escaped by grit and luck alone, stumbling into the House of Blades with blood on his hands and fear in his chest. There, amid gleaming relics of forgotten wars, he found himself chosen by the Dragon’s Fang of Sacrifice, Cinderwake — a blade that burned with the promise of shielding others, demanding a heart willing to give more than it ever took.
Now Gin walks Marth with sun-creased hands that still remember casting nets, bearing a weapon that thrums for those who would stand between darkness and the defenseless. A fisherman at heart, he knows every life he saves weighs heavier than any catch he ever pulled from the river — and accepts that burden without complaint.

Once a humble fisherman of Lin Province, content with river nets and quiet kindness. Welcomed into The House of Blades, where Cinderwake chose his steadfast heart. Now carries the weight of sacrifice in calloused hands, a simple man bearing fire meant to shield others from ruin.
