Nivali-Leu'm Kadenornix (a.k.a. Nivali)
Nivali grew up under the watchful care of Ortoka, a wise Treesinger who became her adoptive mother and mentor after the tragic disappearance of her parents. Ortoka’s secluded lair, a marvel of natural stone and magical gardens, became both her sanctuary and her training ground. There, Nivali learned combat through long hours of practice, tested her resolve against land and sea creatures, and dabbled in botany, magic, and the performing arts—though not always with equal success. Over time, the two often clashed on philosophy and morality, but their disagreements tempered each of them into broader, more open perspectives. As Nivali grew older, Ortoka revealed grim truths about the world—the lingering threat of the Beekeeper Goddess, the death of an elemental deity, and the dangerous shifts threatening balance. Driven by a desire to protect others from loss, Nivali accepted the painful sacrifice of walking a new path to gain strength more swiftly. With keepsakes from her family and Ortoka, and the bittersweet blessing of independence, she left the lair at sixteen. Determined, hopeful, and still learning what it means to walk among humans, Nivali set out to seek companions worthy of facing the looming darkness beside her.

Nivali lived in Arya for about 6 years before before moving with her Mother to Rishama. There, she stayed for 10 years training, going to school, volunteer work, and eventually employment. She traveled westward across the continent with the Ritsu Rune Revelers, a bardic street performance group.
