Iron Gate

Iron Gate • Role: Fortress Port, guardian of the seas. • Appearance: A colossal seawall crowned with towers and guarded by serpent and jaguar statues. Warships bristle behind the gate, and soldiers patrol the battlements. • Economy & Life: Trade here is limited; the focus is on naval supply, weapon stockpiles, and inspection of incoming vessels. The air smells of oil, tar, and steel. • Atmosphere: Stern and unyielding — every ship that passes feels weighed, measured, and judged under the Serpent Queen’s gaze. • Symbolism: The serpent coils above the entrance, a reminder that to enter is to risk being swallowed whole.
