Briarvik

The largest city in Eileanan Abhroin, a port built into the fjords and mountains and a thriving center of trade. of all kinds. Law in Briarvik is what you make it. when dispute occur its common to see men make the circle, and hold shields for the agrieved parties. this is considered better by far in the opinion of the locals than seeking judgement from the nominal ruler of the city, Ulric Bann, the Swordbreaker, or one of his lieutenants, as Ulric is rarely in Briarvik. the streets teem with trade from a dozen nations and there is even a martial school here. it is common to see a werewolf and vampire haggle over the price of slaves taken in raids by greyholters while the greyholters watch with an amused smirk. the docks are lined with taverns and brothels, and the city proper isnt much different. there is no nobles quarter but on the slopes where the land rises from the sea to the mountains the townhouses of ulric bann and his favored men perch as if they watch the city below and wait.
