Beluga Slug

Like many of the life-forms that populate the harsh martian ecosystems, the Beluga slug is a descendant of Earthling life. One might consider it an invasive species, but then so is the whole of life on Mars.   The Beluga slug is very large, and is covered in a thick acidic secretion that it leaves in its path. This creates an interesting obstacle for anyone who needs to cross the path of the Beluga slug.
