Mately Region

The Mately Region is the most contested zone in all of Markait, not because of any special resource, nor the presence of unique peoples or cultures. Put simply, this region of space has had the most people for the longest time compared to most other known regions of space. Reaching all the way back to the First Wave, there have always been civilizations trying to explore and expand out, and here they are more likely to run into competitors than anywhere else in Markait.
