The Broken Teeth

Previously part of the Teeth of the Crocodile in Nekhsou, this group splintered off following a schism within the higher ranks of the organisation. The leadership at the time was steering the Teeth towards a more legitimate course of being privateers within the city, the members that eventually broke off wanted to stay truer to their more mercenary roots and left, becoming outright outlaws.

Structure

The organizational structure is a perversion of the one in the actual guild. There is an overarching leader of the group, The Cracked Skull, along with a version of the Jaws that answer directly to the Skull, but this is where the similarities end.
Each Crooked Jaw is effectively their own pirate captain, running a crew of Broken Teeth independently. They operate mostly autonomously, finding their own scores and leads and contributing a percentage of their loot per quarter to the organization.
The Jaws will meet with the Skull once per quarter to pay their share and discuss whatever news is happening across the Kingdom that would impact/ be of interest to the Broken Teeth.

Culture

The Broken Teeth value freedom and loyalty above all else. They consider the spoils of their missions fair game and see no reason to respect the privateer guilds, whom they consider to be sellouts.
