Ouahe (oh-WAH-hay)
Ouahe is a hamlet located in an arid oasis, where the vegetation is lush. Ouahe grew around a large oasis and is comprised predominantly of humans. They are an egalitarian communist democratic republic that worships many deities, none having a clear majority at all.
The nearest landmark is a small dark cave with an extremely narrow crack in the floor, with steam billowing out. Due to the nature of the steam and the shape of the cave, it creates a low whistling sound at all times of the day. With a population of 860, the denizens live a wealthy existence. A graduation of cadets is currently taking place.
Government in Ouahe
The people of Ouahe work the jobs that they are able to, and are paid according to their needs. Excess profits are reinvested to strengthen the society as a whole. Affairs are handled by the people, the head of whom is Mr. Ket-ef-amen

Trade is rather free in Ouahe, and people live a wealthy existence because of it. There are few taxes, and there is little regulation from the authorities on what merchants can and cannot sell. Welfare is very good. Citizens can expect education, subsidised healthcare, death services, safety nets, and other programs beneficial to the health of the public.

The guard presence in Ouahe is small, and policing is carried out by the Sentinel Hawks. There is usually little need for the use of force outside of intruders. Law in Ouahe is reform-based, and those that breach the laws can expect incarceration, fines, asylums, or work-release programs to provide them with the chance to not become a recidivist. The death penalty is reserved only for traitors to the state. Magic is reserved only for those with a license, which is a relatively simple form to fill out, stating what type of magic you wish to practice, your contact details, a non-refundable bond to cover public liability, and whether it's for commercial or personal use.
