Structure
Grand Hemothurgist is the sole divine leader, which is often considered equal to the goddess most trusted heralds.
Hemothurgist are next, and are the main circle of religious involvment. While the Grand Hemothurgist follows direct orders of the goddess, those in that circle deal with regional affairs and often politics of the region they are assigned.
Sanguine Tithebearer are the nameless right arm of the church, as they are the inquisitors and those convoqued for when martial expertise is needed or a powerful foe needs to be silenced. Nobody truly knows the exact number of them, and they may be varied in warfare experience, from assassins to warlords. They are ranked under the hemothurgist but can overrule them under direct order of the grand hemothurgist.
Delegate are the most economic and socialite of the church, and amongst the easiest to contact for any nobility, government officials and lawbringers. They are versed in the art of the trade and negotiation and do the day-to-day paperwork unless a crisis demands for the hemothurgist to get involved. They usually get responsibility the size and vicinity of a town, be it officially or illegally.
Deacon of the Blood are the main priests taking care of ceremonies and usual rites withing their community
Acolyte fills the last step, as they are simply faithful members of the guild.
Assets
The leech's circle assets measures well in workforce and ancient magic they hold. They are also quite efficient in hiding their moves and agenda. A old saying goes by: Someone, somewhere, helped the circle as stealthily as the cells moves in your bloodstream.
Divine Origins
The Circle origin is present since times immemorial through the damp caves and watery founding of the Underdark. However, on land, origins can be seen since the far lands of Ikahklu, where diviner interpreted the Way of Blood through their own philosophy. Another point of origin can be traced back some millenias ago in the far lands of Bögsbalden which developed and mutated the beliefs and presence more over time.
Cosmological Views
The deepest part of the Circle knows about the origin of Arcamunda. And thus they believe in the power of life through the movement of the cell and blood.
Tenets of Faith
Worship
A gift of blood to the earth is expected from believers. It does not need to be a large one. But at least 7 drops, regardless of the donator's size.It must be given at dawn, on the deepest crack in the soil you can find, or in a body a water, the lowest elevation possible nearby you.
Thus is the gift to their origins, and feeding the Earth of the Blood.
