Magitech

Magi tech is the name of the technology used by the people of the Old World . This technology is at its core harnessing the power of magic crystals to efficiently power all sort of machines. Its uses ranged from being used in daily life of people to make their life easier to being a means to develop weapons of mass destruction for war.

The core concept of Magi tech was lost when The Cataclysmic War ended with the shattering of the world. Now the people of the New World can only use the technology found in the ruins of the old world and any magi tech artifact is considered to be a great treasure by the people. Even after all the secrets were lost some organization still continue to research ways to harness this technology again by studying the artifact of the old world.

Breakthrough in this technology is what resulted in the development of Airships which now allow the people of the New World to travel between the different floating islands.
