Canviar
The Canviar are a race of chameleons that have adapated to live all over Malplenan and alongside all of the other races. However, they are primarly located in the Còrdelo Basin which is thought to have been where they originally came from. Their ingenuity and inventions have given them a sense of respect across the world as long as they are willing to work with or share their inventions with others.

Canviar
The Canviar are able to adapt and survive no matter what challenge they are facing. Historically, they used their unique biology to help them hide and avoid predators, but over the years, they have used their thumbs to help invent new tools and devices that have allowed them to thrive. They are always looking for new ways to adapt, even if the environment has not changed.
race features:

- Camouflage: You can change your colour to blend into your surroundings no matter where you are. This requires 30 seconds without moving or taking any actions. After this is complete, you have advantage on all stealth checks. Once you move or take an action or a Reaction, you must camouflage yourself again to gain this benefit.
- Binocular Vision: You are able to switch your eyesight between monocular vision and binocular vision at will. This allows you to see all around you and you can look in two directions at the same time, giving you advantage on all nearby perception checks using vision.
- Grippy Toes: You have two thumbs on each hand and/or a tail that can work like thumb. You have advantage on skill checks that require a grip, such as when climbing or trying to hold on to an object.

Basic Information
Anatomy
The Canviar are a race of chameleons. They have an uncanny ability to adapt to their surroundings and as such come in many different shapes and sizes across the world. Since their adaptations vary across regions and are often localized, they are considered to look goofy by other races, especially as many of the adaptations are not very useful in the modern world.
Some examples of these adaptations include two opposable thumbs, tails and tongues that are used as extra, dextrous limbs, their ability to camouflage, their 360° eyesight, odd-shaped skulls and other bones and fast, nimble tongues.
They are generally smaller creatures, averaging 4 ft in length and 1 ft in height with a 1.5 ft long tail. Average weight is around 1 lbs. However, their size and weight varies greatly based on their adaptations.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Canviars are omnivorous. They prefer larger insects but often eat meat and vegetables based on what is available. They can usually survive without drinking water as long as the food they consume contains a lot of moisture, such as leafy greens.
