Paia Springs

Paia Springs, to many, is little more than a legend. Paia Springs is said to be the birthplace of the Gods. It is the holiest of holy grounds and holds the secret to unimaginable power and (possibly) eternal life.

Its existence has never been proven - those who have claimed to have been there have never relocated it. Some say Paia Springs is more of a state of mind than a real place, although many would disagree.

Over the past few decades, several scholars have discovered and studied a peculiar form of magic unlike any other magic in the world. The magic is concentrated and completely pure. There are no irregularities or abnormalities that would be seen with regular magic. Even raw magic of other forms has never been found to be as pure as this magic, called the Paia Strain.

Multiple scholars have speculated that this incredibly rare magic can only be connected to a place like Paia Springs. The most confusing component of this theory, however, is that the Paia Strain can be found all over the world - albeit in small amounts.
