Kholodnyy
Kholodnyy occupies the northeastern corner of Ostrov. The entirety of Kholodnyy, spare for a few miles, lies within The Dragonspine Mountains. Because of its difficult terrain and peaks that tower higher than any other point in Malenk’iy, Kholodnyy has a small, sparse population. Harsh winters and cool summers make the conditions of Kholodnyy insufferable to many non-natives of the country.
Kholodnyy’s government would be considered democratic socialist by the standards of other countries, however Kholodnites see it as looking out for each other. Kholodnyy, including the capital of Seredina, is governed entirely by elected officials and not by a monarchy.
