Jotun

Jotun is the language of the giants.

Jotun is not a written language and is strictly verbal, which many scholars argue is due to the low intelligence of many people who speak the language (especially Ogres). This is a misconception that many Jotun speakers resent.

Characters who speak either Gnoll or Orcish may attempt a Linguistics check to understand Jotun.

Followers of Omis are able to take Jotun upon creation as a starting language. Goliaths and Ogres speak and understand Jotun as a starting language. Characters of any race may take Jotun as an additional language upon creation.
