Es heißt, die ersten Menschen kamen einst aus dem Osten nach Karmaan, als das Niemandsland noch freundlicher zu bereisen war. Im dunklen Jahrhundert der Schar gingen ihre alten Reiche verloren, und die Menschen gingen als Karmaaner daraus hervor. Die alte Ordnung ist zerbrochen, und die großen Kriege der Völker sind Geschichte.
  Auch heute noch stellen die Menschen die größte Bevölkerungsgruppe in Karmaan. Sie sind vielseitig, anpassungsfähig und divers. Auch ihre physische Erscheinung spiegelt diese Eigenschaften. Von den großen, bleichen Menschen des Nordens, die man beinahe mit Elfen verwechseln könnte, zu den drahtigen, dunkelhäutigen Menschen des Südens, die fast schon an Orks erinnern, findet man jegliche Ausprägung von physischen Merkmalen.

Human Traits

It’s hard to make generalizations about humans, but your human character has these traits.
 

Age

Humans reach adulthood in their late teens and live less than a century.
 

Size

Humans vary widely in height and build, from barely 5 feet to well over 6 feet tall. Regardless of your position in that range, your size is Medium.
 

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
 

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common and one extra language of your choice. Humans typically learn the languages of other peoples they deal with, including obscure dialects. They are fond of sprinkling their speech with words borrowed from other tongues: Orc curses, Elvish musical expressions, Dwarvish military phrases, and so on.

Skill Proficiency

You gain proficiency in two skill or tools (one of each is also possible) of your choice.
 

Human Ingenuity

You gain either the Human Determination or the Jack of All Trades feature.
 
  • Human Determination:
    When you make an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw, you can do so with advantage. Once you use this ability, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

  • Jack of All Trades:
  • When you make an ability check that you do not add your proficiency bonus to, you can choose to add half of your proficiency bonus to the check (round up). You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
