The Wastes War
The war with the Orcs is a constant low level skirmish. The Orcs culture is very much anathema to many civilized cultures, with the ability to gain willing brides being reliant on proved combat skill, they are constantly fighting with anyone nearby. Out in the Wastes, this means generally the Datlas Wildfolk who range the deserts between the Orcs and true civilization.
