Aelar and Calantha led the construction of Sanctum and its surrounding lands, working closely with the local people to create a city that was safe, prosperous, and supportive of all its residents. Their vision of a city that honored Lord Death and encouraged its residents to live life to the fullest and to seek peace and understanding in all things, continues to shape the culture of Sanctum to this day.
