Dreqs are a cousin species to humans, ressembling them greatly. The main physical differences to humans are, their heterochromatic eyes, longer necks, and pointy ears angled downwards. They age slowler than humans, granting them a longer livespan that easily exceed a hundred years. Dreqs from Anissia are commonly known for being on the smaller size, rarely exceeding 150cm, while the dreqs of the Misty Lands average height is in the 210cm.   Dreqs and humans can mate. Offsprings of this are classified either as dreq or human depending on their physical characteristics, but their mixed heritage can sometimes be recognized.

Dreqs of the Anissian Impire, the Republic of Anissia, and New Anissia, all share a common ancestry in The Old Empire of Anissia.

Each great family of the Misty Lands used to be its own culture, but there now allied against the common threat of Agmār and Anissia.

Dreqs settlements can be found in the desert and on the coast.

Dreqs and humans of Niie share a common culture.
