Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Athletic, strong, healthy, Meisteri is constantly improving herself through exercise and practice. She has broad shoulders and wide hips although attractive for Drocian standards one must first be able to peer past the chiseled muscle and fiery eyes to see her beauty.

Body Features

Long black hair, green scaled skin, large red tusks jutting from her jaws. Broad shoulders and thick arms, strong legs and a long tail tipped with a vicious barb.

Identifying Characteristics

Her eyes are an odd shade of red, piercing but just beneath the surface, a swirling darkness spreading out from her pupil like a sickness.

Physical quirks

Ambidextrous, tends to sway a she moves as if she struggles with the weight of her own body.

Special abilities

The whispered knowledge of something much older and much more powerful swirls within her mind.

Apparel & Accessories

Thick furs cover her shoulders, and a padded jerkin cover her chest with thick woolen pants to keep her warm. An outfit she herself has put together out of necessity and available materials.

Specialized Equipment

Meisteri prefers small weapons, like swords and daggers seeing them as more versatile then the larger arsenal, however she is practiced with all martial weapons and can easily use whatever she happens to have on her.

Personal history

Born deep within the undercaverns, Meisteri has lived a predominantly solitary life, her father having died while she was young and her mother having never been present in the first place.   but she has never been truly alone, not really, she has always had company in the form of the dark whispers in the back of her mind. An ever present voice, just beneath the surface of her own thoughts, teaching how to write and read, how to survive. But perhaps the most important thing it has shared was the gift of magic, secrets of the arcane given through half formed memories and hushed knowledge.   It has always been with her, the one true constant in her life and she trusts in it completely, and so when it told her to leave the underground of her birthplace she did not hesitate.   It had been a long ardous journey to reach the surface, but the sight of the clear sky and to feel the cold icy air of Skjur on her face was worth all the hardships. She spent some time in Skjur, spending time with the Jaldi people, earning their trust. she was content for a while but eventually her thirst to prove herself to the whispers in her head that she was worthy of its power and so she took the next ship south, towards the sunken city of Vatni.     Although she found no lack of potential in Vatni the magic there paled in comparison to the magic that the whispers had given her and so she moved on, further south.     Her next stop was Juventius where she practiced as a street magician, dazzling folk with her illusions and advice on the arcane, which she gave happily to those who would listen to it. Her unique insight given to her by the whisper got her some attention of the more affluent mages in Juventius, and she was sometimes invited to perform within their grand mansions. However the rich tapestry and fine food was not to Mesiteri's liking, and her distate for the nobles only grew as she spent more time in the city. Although the magic in Juventius was impressive, the fellow mages within it were miss and so she moved on, now east to Patessius.   There she saw the power of the raw magic of the world, it's wonders and destructive potential. But it quickly became apparent she was not strong enough to harness yet, and so now she seeks a place of adversity to practice her blade and skills.   So now she travels west again, towards Sura Empire, a place she hopes she will find challenges to hone her power so that one day she can be worthy of it.

Leaving the undercaverns of her birthplace was an important event for Meisteri since she sees it her rebirth into something more important than just another fungus farmer.

Failures & Embarrassments

Watching her father fall into the abyss tore Meisteri up as a child, and although she will say it is all in past now, she still regrets in not being able to save him and blames her weakness for his demise.

Mental Trauma

Her father's death has driven her to strive to become stronger, and it has made it difficult for her connect with people. However it has had the interesting side affect of making her incredibly heroic, seeing how her desire to never repeat her past has caused her to step in and save many lives, including that of a young Jaldi girl.

Meisteri considers most gods as simply selfish beings who were born with power and as such unworthy of it. She has little respect for them, and even less tolerance of their followers.

Meisteri is usually socially inept, although she has traveled far her past scars have made it hard for her to form bonds and as such she can be quite awkward. However she is naturally charismatic, and her surprisingly thoughtful insight is sometimes enough to difuse any situation.

Hobbies & Pets

Meisteri has a small flute she plays regularly, it is the last peice of her father and to lose would be to lose him forever. Often when she needs to be herself for a moment and take a break from the constant whispers, she will pull the wooden flute from her bag and play the few simple tunes she knows well.

Speech

Meisteri prides herself on being proper and well informed, and although she can often get her pronunciations wrong her calm and careful voice often carries it past. Even when flustered her words are often even and measured.

Meisteri has never been wealthy, always content with just having enough money to feed herself and find the occassional shelter. Currently though she has spent the last of her coin acquiring passage west, although her now empty wallet is no concern to her.

Meisteri is determined and headstrong, believing strongly in her goal to spread the whispered knowledge of her patron.

Meisteri believes in hard work and earning your place, and looks down on any who has achieved greatness without any effort.
Ideals
Meisteri has always lived by herself, her only companion is the whispering voice of her patron that comes to her when its quiet. It never forms words or feeling, but sometimes she can glean the makings of a spell or other form of arcane knowledge. She considers the being jer friend and will constantly converse with it when she is alone, and although she never gets an answer she enjoys their one sided conversations.
