Glassplain

The vast stretch of desert that occupies the northern half of Fulgaria, domain of the united tribes of the Fulgarian Confederacy.   Ages before the The Cataclysm, the Glassplain was a vast, inhospitable desert that smothered the southern half of Asphodel. Today it has been warped beyond recognition by the. The fine sands of the ancient Ibbek dunes are now intricate, incomprehensible canyons of obsidian, twisted forests and scrublands of fulgurite, and currents of constantly-flowing sand, like silicate rivers churning ceaselessly by streams of natural gas pumped through underground tunnels.   <<wip>>   Notable traits:   Ibbek live here.   Prominence is the Ibbek capital city, a titanic fortress of shaped and spun glass. Permanent residence of the Emissary, Azalea, founder and chief of the Lyxian Archive.   Concord lies at the northernmost point of the Glassplain, a short distance from the Shifting Desert and the Pathfinders.   The Basilica is thought to be somewhere in the Glassplain.
