Seeing the life created by Suchlaph, Turiel, angel of the mountain, went to Yesod to create a superior being, one which lives and dwells within the mountains. Taking a stone from his mountain and a handful of clay, Turiel formed the shape and form to honor the mountains. Yesod then breathed life into this form giving rise to the Dwarves.
