Naeril (a.k.a. Ratatoskr's Fang)
It is said that the circle of Aeron came to be when a small hunting band of wandering humans witnessed a battle between dragons and the berserk kami of the mountain during the Maddening. Fascinated and thankful for cleansing the land from this large threat, the nomads settled down in the mountain to learn from one of the dragons and help dispatch the remaining fallen spirits.
Naeril heard the story for the first time over a century ago, during his initiation by the grandmaster. Like many before him, he trained in this fighting style inspired by the scaled apex predators. Unlike those before him, he is an elf, found as a babe all by himself in the clearing the dragon Ratatoskr would call home.
A mere sixteen years ago, when the dragons once again fought against a terrible menace, Ratatoskr didn't return to her sanctuary, for she and her victorious kin ascended to godhood in the aftermath. And thus a new doctrine was added at the end of every disciple's training: to roam the lands far and wide and keep them safe from threats to reach enlightenment.
