The Cyclones Eye
In the entirety of Luveri there is only one place where no creature, magical, mortal or not can survive. Compared to the worlds centre even the great spirits, which uphold the veil of our world, seem like a child's toy.
The place where the lay lines collide and the mana storms reside, known as the cyclones eye. The place where the resources needed to create life is distributed across the world and where no life can thrive.
Geography
The land itself is ragged, the stone bend into waves facing towards and away from the storm and later replaced by frozen water spikes. They build up more and more towards the centre creating a towering mountain of mana, water and stone. Above it a never ending vortex of storm and energy reigns.
Instead of the sun, moon or stars providing light the entire land is covered in blue in all it's varieties. The sky itself is deformed, a blanket twisted around a fixed centre, distorting the sky, stars, sun and moons. Blue and white lighting flickers across forming cracked glass or shattered ice patterns in the firmament.
The surrounding atmosphere is filled with a deadly energy, tearing everything magical apart, let it be spells or the thin thread keeping soul and body bonded.
History
While not confirmed, scientists believe that when the old worlds shattered and merged into the one we know today, the Eye was where it all began. That the merging started here and the world formed around it, bending to Eyes forces. This theory is supported by the assumed layout of Luveri as well as the recorded lay lines, used by seafarers. In fact studying the Eye from a save distance and observing it's distribution of mana spear headed the research about ocean travel and navigation.
The Myth
When following the phenomenon of regular Whirlwinds, it suggests that the true centre is supposed to be completely quiet and unaffected by the forces around it. In the eyes of Luveris inhabitants the observation of the folded and twisted firmament hints that inside the storm, within the Eye lies a place absent of the veil. A place where the truth of this world can be revealed.
