Basic Information
Anatomy
The support slug is usually 30 - 50 cm in length and 4 - 6.7 cm in width 1 - 3 kg in weight.
It has a long and round black body with teal-blue rings along its body. It has three antennae on the top of its head. It has no limbs and no bones.
Genetics and Reproduction
Support slug are hermaphrodites, so it may self-fertilise or may mate with another of their species, fertilising each other and both producing offspring.
Growth Rate & Stages
It takes about a year for support slugs to mature into adults, which can live for about ten years.
Ecology and Habitats
Within the Gestari Empire support slugs are found in and around Tormentarn Lake, however it is speculated that they originate from the feywild.
Dietary Needs and Habits
The support slug usually eats stone and rock.
Although, they can eat meat. When they do, they become corrupt and changes to a parasitic entity that controls the body of the creature.

The support slug has no eyes and thus is blind, however to counter this, it has tremorsense and an incredible sense of smell.
Symbiotic and Parasitic organisms
When a support slug consumes meat, it becomes corrupt and buries itself into the back of the skull of a nearby creature, controlling its mind and body entirely.
Only a creature with extraordinary willpower has a chance at resisting a corrupt support slug's control.
