PITCH
As trusted mercenaries of the Gestari Empire, you have been placed under the emperor's command. As a result, you find yourself in the middle of a political battle. As a greatly powerful alliance - made up of many smaller groups that have proven antagonistic to the empire's plans - attempts to destroy the Gestari Empire, threatening everything you hold dear. They have resorted to corruption, abduction, assassination and brute force to see their plans succeed. You will have to fight to survive in the seas, on the land, and in the streets and halls of the capital itself. This is an adventure of intrigue, treachery, and moral ambiguity.   SETTING
Some parts of the world are very similar to the ancient Roman Empire and the imperial British Empire, but the world contains a plethora of unique cultures, some similar to real-world cultures, other are not. You will find phalanxes of hoplites or ranks of cataphracts fighting off hideous unique creatures, great dragons, and minotaurs. You can play as a wise elf, a crafty dwarf, a versatile human, a robust Sabulian or many more to be a hero of the realms. You can be a knowledgeable wizard, a brutal barbarian, a sneaky rogue, a great mage cursed with blood, or many more. The stage is set for greatness if you are prepared to seize it.   Great heroes covet the powerful artefacts that lie scattered across ancient ruins. This is a land that is discovering the true power of the mysterious elements that lay beneath them.   You will be playing a mercenary placed under the command the the emperor of the Gestari Empire and the grand general of the imperial legions, Hedrihk Gestarius, a great honour for many people as this position gives you many benefits and privileges. You would be able to reap the rewards of being recognised as hero by many people in the world.
