Tarik al-Hassan was banished from the Rosaven dominion after the attempted burglary of a caravan. Tarik's punishment was the banishment into the Torrid Steppes.
Hassan Kingdom was founded by Tarik al-Hassan after finding the Oasis of Fortune and the Oasis of Luck.
After years of Tarik micromanaging the citizens of the Kingdom, it finally becomes self sufficient enough to where Tarik can worry about foreign policy and broader issues. This self-sufficiency came from the numerous trading posts Tarik had set up trading out the minerals found in the mines with other foreign goods.

After Mamdooh rode an Alraml up to the palace doors, Dhaki fled the Kingdom, never to be seen again. This meant that Mamdooh succeeded the throne, and the beginning of the end of the Dark Age.

A Rosaven Purist, whose name has been stricken from the Hassan history books, stole Awal’iidrab, Tarik’s pickaxe, and swung it into Tarik’s glass coffin, embedding it into the side of it. Before the Purist could do more damage, he was swiftly killed by armed guards. However, the pickaxe could not be removed for fear that it will cause the decomposition process to begin. Therefore, the pickaxe remains a part of the coffin to this day, and a reminder of the horrible incident and the crimes Rosaven had caused.
