Great Drought Short Summary

This is a list of the most important events in that occurred in the great Drought campaign.

The Drought

The Drought plagued Haemir for the longest time and was as the long rain gave a temporary relieves, it took until the Death of the Aboleth called, "The Queen of Deep" for this to be truly resolved, for she was no longer sucking all groundwater to her.

The Mad Wizard and Pack

The mad wizard Binyāmīn attempt to unleash Yeegnohu on the world, his effort first unleashed a pack of Gnolls. He was killed before he could complete the ritual. His efforts were not entirely in vain for he created the Cult of Yeegnohu in Haemir who later successfully made Oets part of there numbers for a while. Only for him to later betray them. Causing their destruction.

The Yuan-ti, Shadow Rulers of Haemir

Ever since the Great city went into isolation, Haemir has been a part of the Secret Yuan-ti Empire. Led by the Night's Queen, The Demon-Lord Velva. Haemir was placed under the control of King Manuya one of her many spouses.
The party eventually killed Manuya as well as other key persons for the Yuan-ti to maintain control of the region, as well as Richard's hunting down and slaughtering of any remain Yuan-ti of the region, Haemir was freed from the Serpentine shackles.

The Stranded Neogi

Various packs of Neogi had ended up in Haemir after there Spelljammer went haywire and they were forces to crash land in the Material realm. One of these pockets attempt to enslave The Town of Vesmon , but was ultimately doomed to failure when Arthel found out. With help of Val they escaped and found the remains of another failed Neogi settlement. They were able to craft Sand-Sailers before being forces to relocate once more.
They settled under Umlarn, at behest of Ninnip at the time.
Eventually they all vanished after Quelana made hell rain down upon Umlarn and Frostborn army both.

Rise of Gods

After being kidnapped by the Kuo-Toa, Jada and Ninnip had gods made in their likeness. These god's successfully formed a start of there cult, to who knows what end.

The Queen of the Deep

The Aboleth desired control of the Elements, to this the end the Staff of Elements had to be stolen from the Frostborn King's treasury. The long rain caused by Quelana gave her more water she could siphone to create her servants. She was killed by the party in the lake of her own creation.

The Frostborn Conquest

The Frostborn launched a brief campaign to conquer Haemir, however after Quelena destroyed there army they sued for a white-peace.

Quelana's plot

Through the mirror Quelana granted aid to King Manuya and The WizardBinyāmīn in hopes that either would be able to free her. This later led to her contacting Ninnip and Breeze, whose efforts were more successful in this regard. For they had successfully obtained the box, and indirectly caused her son, Zarian to be freed. This eventually led to Asari freeing Quelana who enjoyed her all to brief freedom before the same party killed her.  

Aftermath

Asari

Asari married Richard and together they ruled the renewed Kingdom of Haemir.

Oets

Oets used his druid power to restore the woods of Haemir and formed a clan of Goblins in peace with nature called the Oetsons.

Zalyvia

Zalyvia transformed the now floating tower into the Great Catedral of Ever Lasting Development, Zraphia. The Catedral later gained some infamy for drawing unsavoury knowledge-seeking types.

Alfrea

Alfrea after completing the rest of her armour set, Alfrea settled in the Marches below Rem'shama. Rumour has a Great Black Dragon now also dwells there.

Larry

After all the event, as well as the Frostborn desiring his text. Larry set out on a new quest to find the truth of the text.
