Dragonfall

The name of this city comes from the large dragon skull situated in the middle of the town square. The prophecy says that, in ancient times, the dragon god Bahamut was slain by a valiant hero. This act blessed the land with incredibly fertile soil for farming. Dragonfall was home to approximately 400 people and was known throughout the region for its vast array of crops and vegetables that grew in the large fields just outside the city walls.   The mayor of Dragonfall was Lord Gendril, a noble who had been sent by the high council of the capital to oversee the city. Lord Gendril was a kind man—maybe a little too kind, according to some. Despite this, he managed to keep the city under control for five years straight, ruling with everything but an iron fist. He was often seen wandering the large crops market, inspecting the two forges, “testing” the ale of all three inns, and enjoying the theater when times were good.   After these five years an origanisation called the Holy Brotherhood took over the city of Dragonfall. They first started out by claiming the monastry and spreading false stories and prophecies of their origin, beliefs and goals. They took advantage of Lord Gendril's passiveness and quickly took over the entire city. It was then that they insisted that all young adults of the city should enlist in the monastery to learn about the almighty dragon god Bahamut and his beliefs.   What became of Dragonfall after the new reign by the Holy Brotherhood is unknown.
