Ciros
The Ramming Fury
Domains and Aspects
Ciros is the god of unstoppable force, the embodiment of will made manifest. His power shakes the earth, breaks mountains, and drives storms of sand across barren lands. He represents the harsh, direct truths of the world: strength speaks, weakness yields.
Symbol and Depiction
Symbol: A furious ram’s head, horns lowered and eyes blazing.Depiction: Ciros is most often portrayed as a colossal ram, his wool a crust of jagged stone and his hooves cracking the ground with every step. Where he walks, earthquakes tremble and dunes shift violently. His presence stirs the desert sky into wrathful sandstorms.
Beliefs and Values
Followers of Ciros value loyalty, strength, and an unbreakable will. They speak bluntly, act decisively, and do not believe in hiding behind pleasantries. What others call harsh, they call honest, and what others call cruelty, they call strength of conviction. Many of his faithful believe that yielding is the beginning of defeat. Only those who meet the world head-on are truly alive. “Say it. Mean it. Break through.”Temples and Worship
Ciros has no temples, only traditions. In the nomadic tribes of the Ciro Desert, followers honor him by raising and traveling alongside rams, sacred beasts said to be under his gaze. To mistreat a ram is believed to invite Ciros’ wrath. Such transgressors are said to vanish during sandstorms, their bones found crushed beneath stone.Legends and Tales
One tale speaks of Ciros pounding the earth in rage, shattering the crust of the world, only for Egeus to follow quietly, filling the cracks with stone and mineral from below. Some say this back-and-forth created the vast underground realms beneath the world. Ciros breaks, and Egeus builds.Mysteries
Unlike most gods, Ciros is said to maintain strange and deep ties with other deities. His mutual opposition, and mutual respect, with Egeus is well known. But his rumored connection to Dogon, the Whispering Serpent, remains a point of fascination. Many of Dogon's followers dwell in the Ciro Desert, but the nature of the link between the two gods is lost to time… or deliberately hidden.
