I love our hillside. There are a lot of different
Emi strolling around, the
Ami found there are the nicest to look at, this place seems to love colour. Almost everywhere you can hear the murmuring of a creek or water dripping down in a small stream.
Geography
Set in the center, connected to all other regions of our continent you could say it's the green heart of
Edi. It's the biggest region of the nation if you count in the lighter offshoting forests. This creates some problems, as the deep forest is seen sacred and only a few changing natural passages lead through parts of it. A lot of small streams and creeks sourced in the
The Mountains of Edi, slowly forming rivers, lead through it
Flora
There are parts in the hills where you don't have a single spot where no plant lives. This makes passing through it slow and difficult but quite worthwhile as the diversity not only gives a whole different view just a few metres apart, but also there is a sheer mass of plants to discover for all the different uses like medicine or food. Also most natural pigments stem from here due to the groups of
Ami trying to outshine one another with their colours. Growing in the twilight of lighter parts of the forest you can find fields of
Areami with
Torami. Still the most impressive experience for me are the awakened
Ami which are mostly found in the hills.
Fauna
Like it's with the fauna almost every species living on
Edi can be found here too, as it is for
Ami you can find something living pretty much everywhere. The ancestors of our lovely
Ceremi for example mostly live in the border between
The Mountains of Edi and the hills. For hunting also
Bomemi are occasionally found, rarely some choose a cave for living here.
