Politheon

Divine Origins
The Politheon technically began as the Astrotheon did. However, unlike the Agriotheon, the Politheon's gods were formed primarily from the gods of the light elves (the Lucir), humans, and dwarves. The Politheon's gods are largely beneficial to worship and tend to favor their worshippers greatly. The name "Politheon" means "City Gods". The gods chosen for the Politheon are both those gods that benefit the humanoid races but are also gods that benefit the creation and maintenance of cities and civilization. This is why Gaia, Lythracea, and other nature gods are included even though they may not directly impact or come from the humanoids usually associated with the Politheon.
Ethics
The primary ethical concern of the Politheon's worshippers is the proliferation and growth of civilization, cities, and the increase of comfort and ease for the lives of the "civilized" races of the world.
Worship
The worship performed to the gods of the Politheon range from contractual like the worship of the goddess Erida to the daily worship performed by the worshippers of Sol. These forms of worship however don't include the sacrifice of sentient mortals, self mutilation, or other harm to anything greater than an animal. In most cases as well, worship can be a passive lifestyle with Venatus being worshipped by most if not all hunters simply by performing their duties.
Most people in the known world who worship from the Astrotheon worship gods from the Politheon. However, like most of the Astrotheon gods, Politheon gods aren't usually exclusively worshipped and may be worshipped in different forms. Venatus the Hunter for example tends to be worshipped alongside Fevrin. Or Gaia in her Motherhood Aspect is worshipped alongside Echidna in her Motherhood aspect while in her Creator Aspect Gaia is worshipped alongside Sol in his Creator Aspect.
Sects
Each god has their own sect, and each sect is loosely affiliated by this common bond. In this way, there is some form of a non-aggression pact amongst these sects. While at times these can be broken, the sect cults very rarely declare actual war. The exception to this is Vena's Furies, who alongside Luna's Avengers, declare war on the world during Vena's Retrograde.
