The Twin Dragons of Life and Death

Deep within the ancient walls of Lorth, ancient stone murals tell of two dormant dragons, enigmatic beings embodying the opposing forces of life and death. The knowledge of their existence is a whisper carried through time, inscribed in the weathered stone by long-forgotten hands.   According to the inscriptions, the dragons' power is not bestowed upon the chosen or those with unyielding spirits. Instead, it lies dormant, waiting for any courageous soul who discovers their hidden lairs. Those who awaken the dragons gain the extraordinary ability to harness the elemental forces of life or death.   However, the dragons' power is not without peril. Possessors of this extraordinary power lose their soul after dying and cannot go into the afterlife when entering a pact with the dragon. Through a process of absorbing souls, the dragons undergo a profound metamorphosis, growing stronger and more formidable.   Should two souls awaken the dragons together, an inevitable clash of unimaginable magnitude awaits them. The outcome of such a battle remains shrouded in uncertainty, lost within the annals of time.   The myth of the Twin Dragons carries an air of mystery, known only through ancient inscriptions. Their power beckons, tempting adventurers to seek the dragons' lairs and claim the extraordinary abilities that lie within. Yet, the consequences of awakening these primordial beings and the aftermath of a dual awakening remain as enigmatic as the dragons themselves.   The Powers of Life are said to heal any wound or illness as well as enhancing the capabilites of oneself and people the power is used on. Furthermore you can give life to objects making them more powerful and loyal allies to the wielder. One can also sense life and cheat death. The Powers of Life transcend one into a higher form of being which is said to be God-like.   The Powers of Death one the other hand are made for destruction and mayhem. Killing becomes no problem. Anyone, no matter how strong can be killed easily. A touch is enough but pulse waves of death energy can affect large groups of people and make them suffer or kill them. This power will likely corrupt the user and if this dragon is found, humanity will likely end or get restructured completely. On the other hand the user of this power is also prone to death and killed easily.
