Tohcatch

Tohcatch is a heresy from Etohgrre. Relatively new, it is concentrated in Frohland. They believe in @Tohca, the son of Ddace, who is said to have rebelled against his mother and thrown her out of the spirit realm. He is believed by Tohcatchians to have ended her reign. It is a patriarchal religion, based on the belief that a man always will be stronger than his mother. The focus lies on helping others. Only males can become clergy, they function as teachers, maintainers of temples and interpreters of myths. Unlike Etohgrre, chastity is encouraged for clergy. They have shaved heads and the calling is inherited from father to son.

Marriage is monogamous and for life. Remarriage after death is not permitted.
