Clergy
Only men can be a part of the clergy. They are children's teachers as well as keepers of the shrines. They live a life slightly more luxurious than the average person, as they have devoted their entire self to God, and as such should be rewarded. They are encouraged to not marry, since their life is devoted to God, but it is not unheard of that a clergyman has gotten married anyway. A clergyman is chosen at birth and taken from their parents to a shrine where they are tought by other clergymen. The clergymen are easily recognizable by their purple clothing. They are the only ones who can wear purple. They also have a necklace in the form of a five-pointed star.
