Peolto (pɛ-ˈɔl-to)

 

Etymology

The peolto is named after the man who invented it, Crona Peolto.  

Sizes and Colors

The currency is made up of marbles of varying colors and sizes, depending on their value. There are three sizes of marble: 5mm is a foccoro, 12mm is a binto and 18mm is a bu.

Geographical reach

The peolto is the currency primarily used by Nulmagio, and since Nulmagio is the strongest trading country in the world, their currency is also used by many other countries in the world, for convenience.
Besides Nulmagio, there are a few countries who use the peolto as a main currency. These are Ulmagia, Vermegia, Novogio and Nøhumaa.

The only countries that do not accept peolto as a currency are the tribes and Suganuran. These are all countries whose economy rely on bartering, and money of any kind has no value to them. Of course, some of the more mobile merchants in these countries will still accept Peolto, if they know they can use them somewhere else.
