Eldar

The Eldar, also known as the First Men, Golden Men, or Promised Ones, are the ancestors of all human races. They are the descendants of the survivors of the great flood and can trace their origins directly to the old world in the Rekiilin Era. They were built with naturally fit and slim bodies and a faded golden complexion. They often had freckles which glittered like gold dust and eyes of vibrant shades of blue.

Eldar, their language, is an old version of Ilinic, the language of the southern human settlements of Lonu'l. The Eldar built the first human cities on Lonu'l, biggest of them all being Byrthdom. The Kingdom of Byrthdom controlled the central south of Lonu'l until 853 1E when a great plague wiped out most of the population. Due to the First Blessing of Adriel, which gave all mortal races hyper adaptability, the Eldar were mostly changed into the other races of humans. Some still survived on the southern island of Arksh, but no sightings of a true Eldar have been recorded since the 3rd Era.
