Anubis "Doggie" Cruger

Anubis "Doggie" Cruger is captain of the Yukana S.P.D. (Special Powers Division). He currently resides in Longbridge Prison, overseeing the guard stationed there and making much-needed changes to the structure of the administration.   He is often seen observing the day-to-day motions of the prison, marching up and down the halls keeping prisoners and guards on their toes. He commands crowded rooms with his booming voice when needed, however, the sound of his katana, Sirius, gently tapping at his hip as he approaches is normally more than enough to gather the attention he deserves.   Cruger is rarely seen in combat, although the stories from those who have witnessed him in action tell tales of his god-like speed and precision. Cruger being a rather humble man avoids conversation regarding his combat strength, and would much rather discuss current work assignments instead.   Captain Cruger stands with a commanding and noble figure, wearing a sleek black military suit painted with thin red stripes. Cruger measures 7' tall with an impressive athletic build. He is covered in blue and white scales that shine bright in the light, but in the dark his scales change to a darker shade to conceal himself.  

Sirius (Shadow Saber Katana)

Captain Cruger's weapon is kept with him at all times. The blade is like an extension of Cruger himself, and the legend of this blade is one of much debate between those who gossip about Cruger's mysterious fighting technique. Many claim that it is a blade of legend from another continent, others say that it was forged by Cruger himself. No one knows for certain the origins of the blade, but this much is known: The blade is called Sirius, named after Cruger's home of the same name. Sirius does not exist on any modern map, and it is speculated to be somewhere off the east coast of Lonu'l.   The guard of the blade takes the shape of a silver wolf's head with a golden chain wrapped around the snout of the hound. The hound's eyes are black with a stripe racing across the face of the wolf. The handle of the blade is black with silver runes engraved on the edge. Protruding out of the wolf's mouth on the guard is a black blade. The blade has a rough surface with blue cracks running down the length of the sword, however, the edge is razor-sharp.   The blade is rumored to have additional functionality to it, perhaps magical. Stories tell that when it is activated, the guard opens its jaws, and the gold chain holding it's jaws shut flies off. The blade then transforms, and the hardened black material on the blade withers away to reveal a reflective silver blade beneath.   The blade's magic properties are unknown, and it is said that Cruger has only resorted to using this special attack three times in his life during combat.
