Microwave Projector

Microwave Projectors are a sort of a curio, that can be constructed but rarely is. For more than one reason. It is a much bigger and powered up version of Maser EW that instead of being modeled after standard EWs and MAWs (meaning being 'gun', with barrel and so on) looks more like plates mounted atop the armor.   This 'plates' can be then used to project microwaves on a truly grandeur scale, equalled to maser with calibre of about many dozens of meters. More than enough to literally melt crew of capital ship without the need to pierce its armor. On the other hand, however, it is exactly as far from being humanitarian as a weapon can get, it cannot pierce shields (though with the size of this thing it can bypass it by firing on every single point of it and finding weakspots, portholes and so on) and it is VERY vulnerable to enemy fire. With every enemy hit (even from fighter-class units) capable of making holes in it.   Thus it is encountered very rarely and almost always as an improvised weapon, done with the idea that bad weapon is better than no weapon in mind.
