Unbreakable Shield, the Shield of Kavacha

Unbreakable Shield

Magic Item, Lance, Legendary, Attunement Required   Paladin   A large, steel shield with the symbol of Kavacha in it's centre. Normally acts as a regular shield, but there is a deep power hidden inside that can only be unlocked with the blessing of Kavaha. If the user has said blessing, they can awaken this weapon using a Bonus Action for the next minute. When awakened, the shield grows, tripling in protection to +6 AC. Furthermore, you can use an action to slam this shield into the ground, where it grows both thicker and wider, turning into a barrier 10 feet thick, 30 feet long and 20 feet tall, and with 120 HP. This wall persists – and acts as full cover – until it is destroyed or an action is used to end this ability, either way it turns back into the regular shield and clatters to the ground, ready to be picked up. Lastly, if holding the shield, you may use your bonus action to throw this shield at an ally within 80 feet, where it hovers around them until the start of the user's next turn, granting that Ally +4 AC.   When found this is a 7'6" long, basic steel lance with a two foot blade that holds a large ruby eye in a recess of the hilt. This weapon will act as a regular lance unless in the hands of a Dragoon and will, when attuned to, size to whomever it is meant to serve. Along with this, there is a deep power hidden inside that can be unlocked with the True Mark of Bahamut. If the Dragoon user has said mark, they can awaken this weapon using a Bonus Action. When awakened, the user is enveloped in a shield of flame which grants them immunity to fire damage and grants them a fiery aura.   Any enemies who attempt to move within 15 feet of the user must make a DC 18 Constitution saving throw to attempt to handle the heat produced by the fiery aura, taking 2d10 Fire damage on a fail, or half on a save. Due to the magical properties of the aura, this damage ignores resistances and immunities.   Furthermore, if the user moves at least 20 feet in a straight line towards a target before making an attack against them, the lance bursts into a spear of fire, granting the user +10 Speed until end of turn and – if their attack hits – an additional 4d10 fire damage. This attack also ignores resistances and immunities.

Bonus Action: Awaken Enveloped in flame, gain immunity to fire damage and a fiery aura. Enemies who try to move within 15' of user must make a CON saving throw (DC18). They take 2d10 on a fail, half on a save.   Movement Bonus If user moves at least 20' straight toward a target before attacking them, the lance becomes a spear of fire, granting an additional +10 Speed until end of turn. On a successful hit, user deals an additional 4d10 fire damage that ignores all resistances.
