A brief History

The start of an Adventure

  There was originally Three members of the Triboar Travelers, A Teifling Paladin named Flerg, a Tortle Druid named Orto, and a Tabaxi Rogue named Dara.
The three travelers have come together, each with their own reasoning, to help a mutual aquantince named Gundren - A dwarven business man with deep pockets and a hunch that him and his brothers have rediscovered a lost mine filled with magical artifacts.
Flerg hopes to find reason and power here, Orto seeks to find new mystical understandings, and Dara like many of her ilk loves gold. Simple answers to the long question of why adventurers do what they do.
  The three individuals all are told to meet Gundren at the same place, at the same time, on a mild evening in the summer of 212 in the month of Starweave, the sixth month of the year, and the first week when the moon was all but gone from the sky they gathered in small Inn near the port to hear Gundrens tale.
  A tale of strange occurances, Orcish scouts, Goblin Warbands, and greedy bandits taking advantage of the people of Phandalin, yet admist the concern Gundren believes him and his brothers have discovered a lost mine, once filled with powerful artifacts and one of the greatest forges ever crafted this side of the Expanse.

So with the intrigue placed, the auspicious adventurers gathered their things, and that of Gundrens, and headed south following the Boars Trail, a day behind Gundren and his assistant Sigmound.
Sigmund was Gundrens right hand man, although past his prime in age, the 55 year old human was still apt with a blade and a practiced diplomat who once heralded the title of Guard Capitan in Nevara.
