Llaravesh

The world of Llaravesh is a post-post-apocalypse setting for 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons. Before the apocalypse, Llaravesh was ruled and guarded by great gods who walked amongst the people. By all surviving accounts, it was a world of progress and prosperity where magic and technology worked hand-in-hand to better people's lives.   One thousand years ago, a terrible and mysterious event known now as the Severance caused every god to vanish from the world in an instant, never to be seen again. Every civilisation collapsed within days as the world itself recoiled in horror. Order and infrastructure fell to ruin, and all but a few historical records have since been forgotten or lost to time. Chaos reigned across Llaravesh for an age, but it was not fated to last forever.   The flames of hope were rekindled. Over the last century, the many disparate peoples of Llaravesh have truly begun to reconnect with one another and rebuild. Societies have gone from merely surviving to growing and thriving. There are even some who dare to challenge the commonly-held fears and superstitions by unearthing and exploring the ruins of the Old World, hoping to recover ancient tools or magical artifacts that can enrich their lives or aid in their goals. This is when our adventures take place; during the Age of Rediscovery.
