Cup of Sushrava

History

It is unknown when the cup was made, but it first appeared in engravings in the ruins of the Pairidaeza dated to 610. After the destruction of the Pairidaeza, the cup disappeared. It was rediscovered by a Durendalese excavation team researching the ruins of the Pairidaeza in 2365, and was taken to Durendal, where it was on exhibition for 104 years until 2469, when it was returned to Pardez at the request of the royal family. It has been kept in the royal palace ever since.

Significance

The Cup is highly significant to the history of Pardez, as according to legend it was created for Aredvi, who filled the chalice. Due to the cup's use in divination, it has, and is, used as a form of national security in the past.

It cannot be removed from the chalice, as it always flows toward the bottom of the cup, no matter what orientation it is in.
