Schools Of Burning

In more modern times, the different types of SoulBurning have been divided and categorized, for ease of teaching and researching, into two main Schools, and then several small Diclipines of Thought and Technique. Most the terms are meant for general catagorizing and many techniques and abilities will have crossover between the two Schools and their many Diclipines.

Spell Casting

Mainly used with Words of Power, WardWeaving, Enchanting and HandSigns. This School evolved mainly from the use of Curses and Words of Power/Incantations and now the umbrella term for causing metaphysical effects and warping reality around one's self and to others in that area.

Coporeal Alteration

Mainly used with the Diclipines Elemental Control, Imbuing, Enhancement and RuneScribing. This School evolved mainly from the wide use of Elemental Control and Imbuement, but grew to envelop most abilities that manipulated and/or enhanced physical objects.
