Anaguana Desert
A large and varied desert formed by the rain shadow of the Cobbler's Felt Mountains at it's western edge. The Anaguana is roughly bisected by the Star Crash Mountains. North of the mountains is a low desert, hot and generally inhospitable. The low desert contains the main trade route through the region, and there are several cities on the coast (where sea breezes greatly moderate the climate) or astride the great rivers of the region. The high desert south of the Star Crash Mountains is a wild and dangerous land filled with monstrosities, aberrations, and some even claim to have seen Dragons (the Imperial College rejects these fanciful claims of mythical beasts, however). What is certain is that south of the Star Crash Mountains, there are only two known settlements, and both are small mining communities well to the west of the Wings of the Dove, another large mountain range.
