"I know you must all be tired of my voice already but there is one additional matter to discuss before we eat. For great achievement and concern for the future of generations to come, for an incredibly detailed study, recommendation and related projections, I award to Kundst Faradven the title of loreseeker."— Loreseeker Sidqi Ayuub
Jamaira's Award for Research
The current
Jamray,
Sidqi Ayuub, created the title loreseeker in 66 EX to be awarded to the greatest academic achievement at
Jamaira accomplished in that year; it was awarded to
Kundst Faradven for his study and projections on the erosion of
Breharan and recommendations in the field of
erosion protection engineering.
The announcement was first made at the annual autumn dinner for all staff and students at the school and, save a select few, no one was aware that this event would be any different from prior years. There were some worries that introducing such an award would in some way corrupt the pure pursuit of knowledge but those worries were pushed aside in favor of a view that it would inspire everyone to strive for greater achievement. The award is intended to be granted to one person each year going forward.

The Title
In addition to being granted the title of Loreseeker, which has no concrete legal or monetary benefits, there is also a pin. Though only one has been awarded thus far, the silver pin depicts a quill and is inscribed with the recipient's name on the back.
"It is my hope that the next recipient of this award accomplishes not only incredible academic excellence but also shows us a practical path to improving the lives of everyone on Breharan."— Loreseeker Kundst Faradven
Really cool. Definitely made me thing of how I can implement something like this in my own world as the story is largely set in an academic setting
